1. A merger between Chrysler Corporation and Daimler-Benz would be a horizontal merger because both companies produce cars. They don’t, however, own all the resources to produce cars such as metal, etc.
2. The Industrial Revolution and manufacturing initiated the labor union movement in the United States because working conditions during this time were extremely deplorable, which therefore sparked labor unions to appear.
