What do you think of the name Daimler?

July 10th, 2009 | by admin |

Do you think it’s better for a boy or a girl?
His father wants to call him Lamborghini but I’m afraid the kids would tease him.
You’re right Jilibean. This is not a cultural name. It comes from the automotive side of the family where there is no culture at all. Personaly I think they ought to name the kid Nascar and have done with it.

Hmm..you should run that one by Slappy II first. I don’t think this is an accepted cultural name. It’s just too normal sounding.

    Don’t like it, sorry
I think it seems more like a boys name. Similar to Damon, Damion etc

Honestly the first thing that came to my head was "Dalmation? Like the dog? What?"

I don’t really like it, but it sounds like a boys name to me.

Is that Dame-ler? Or is it Dah-im-ler? I don’t know. I don’t like it because it’d only cause confusion. I’m not a fan of names that are confusing.

    I LOVE IT!
i love any original/unusual names because not many people have them.its could be unisex but i see it as a boy.
if you like it it doesnt matter what these other people say.
when i have kids i want the names:
    boy: Micah (mee-ka) or Aidyn
    girl: Kieley (key-lee) or Darci

Mercedes was a girl’s first name, but Daimler is something more akin to Smith or Carpenter because it is a last name.

Strange or distinctive names may sound interesting or better than boring, but can you imagine if you grew up with that name? Sorry, but I think you need to keep looking, as in more the Patrick/Patricia kind of thing.
