I have a mercedes a class daimlerchrysler (d) 168a and it’s showing in the monitor "-4".what does it mean?

If you are talking about the mileage display that normally shows the total miles/kilometers
it appears that you have the exceeded service interval indication.,

See if the number increases with days/driven mileage and if it does, then get the car serviced ASAP.
If the display stays with this number all the time it’s probably fault in the instrument cluster and it will have to be replaced.
